"Not many people in the world have the opportunity to do something they love, and something they have dreamed of doing since a young age. I am one of those lucky people that found their feet! My passion is reflexology, and I am fortunate enough to be able to practice this as a profession."
-Georgie
I trained in 2011, and have had an interest in reflexology since I was 8 years old. I discovered it whilst on holiday, when I was treated to a session. I was intrigued by the treatment, and after asking lots of questions, was given printouts of foot maps by the therapist. I then carried on my life dipping in and out of reflexology, and finally got into it after dropping out of university as I wasn't enjoying the course I was doing. I signed up for a reflexology course, and felt like I had finally found my feet! Since then I have done further courses to learn about maternity reflexology, reflexology for cancer patients, hot stone reflexology, aromareflex, Reflexology Lymph Drainage and natural facelift massage.
I believe we should be doing the things we love most in life, and this for me is practising reflexology. I treat all sorts of different clients- all having different needs, and this is what makes my job so interesting.
I have two treatment rooms which have a slight African theme to them. The Isleworth treatment room is called Hamna Tabu, and the Putney treatment room is called Hakuna Matata. Both names mean "No Worries" in Swahili. I also have my travelling bell tent treatment room which I take to festivals.
I am a full member of The Association of Reflexologists.
