Power Reflexology

I recently took part in a fascinating short course which has given me new techniques and understanding.

The course took place last Monday, and was run by Louise Keet of London School of Reflexology, who I did my Pregnancy Reflexology course with.

It was a fascinating course, teaching us how to do a short powerful treatment ranging from 15 minutes to half an hour, aimed at corporate clients, mother toddler groups, parties, hospices to name a few.

We then looked at using chakras to unblock energies in treatments. There are 7 ascending chakras that run down the body, which have a relationship to one of the various glands in the body's endocrine system. The aim of this treatment is to clear blockages in these chakras and help the energy in our body to flow freely. Energies can become blocked which causes illness and disease. These blockages can be caused by our reactions to traumatic experiences, where our bodies create armour to protect us from adverse life experiences.

The treatment is extremely powerful- as hinted at in its name, and can cause you to drift into another world!
